Framework Visualiser

Nova is not a signal indicator. It's a framework visualiser — it shows you when conditions are right, then you decide.

Nova watches the New York session and draws a full long setup on your chart the moment the methodology's conditions align — a bullish structure break, aligned higher-timeframe bias, and a valid Fair Value Gap in the displacement leg. When all three gates pass, Nova shows you everything in one glance: entry midline, stop level, 4:1 target, and risk/reward zones in TradingView's familiar long-position-tool style.

Validated methodology. 365-day backtest across five crypto symbols. Positive expectancy on every one tested.

No signal spam. Nova only identifies setups that pass all three gates — most sessions produce one to four setups on 1m, not dozens.

TradingView-native visuals. Entry, stop, target, risk and reward zones drawn in the style you already know from the long-position tool.

Auto-scaling. Load on any supported timeframe — 1m, 5m, or 15m — and parameters adjust automatically.

Part of the AcruxCap suite. No separate purchase. All nine indicators bundled at one price.

The Three Gates

A setup only fires when all three conditions align.

This is what keeps signal frequency low and setup quality high. Most sessions produce one to four setups on the 1m chart — not noise.

Gate 01

Bullish Structure Break

A Change of Character (CHoCH) to the upside must occur within the session window. This confirms that smart money has shifted direction and a new bullish impulse is forming — not just a bounce in a downtrend.

Gate 02

Higher-Timeframe Bias Aligned

The higher-timeframe trend must agree with the long direction. Nova checks HTF bias automatically. Trading with HTF alignment is the single biggest filter for eliminating low-quality setups.

Gate 03

Valid FVG in the Displacement Leg

A Fair Value Gap must exist in the displacement leg of the move. The FVG provides the entry zone — the statistical inefficiency where price is most likely to react and continue in the direction of the impulse.

The NY session box marks the 14:30–21:00 UK window. CHoCH and BOS labels track internal market structure in real time. When all three gates pass, Nova draws the complete setup — green reward zone, red risk zone, entry midline, stop, and 4:1 target — in TradingView's familiar long-position-tool style. The dashboard bottom-right shows live state, gate status, and exact setup levels.

How to Use

Four steps. That's it.

1

Load Nova on a 1m chart

Supported symbols include BTC, ETH, LTC, LINK, and ADA. Other liquid crypto majors likely work but are not part of the validated set. Nova auto-detects the instrument and scales parameters accordingly.

2

Wait for the NY session

Nova is active 14:30–21:00 UK time — the NYSE main session. Outside these hours the indicator is dormant. The session window appears as a shaded box on your chart. Nova handles BST/GMT changes automatically.

3

Watch for an ARMED label

When all three gates pass, Nova draws the complete setup — entry, stop, 4:1 target, and risk/reward zones. The dashboard shows exact levels and the current lifecycle state. Set alerts if you don't want to watch the chart constantly.

4

Take the trade or skip it

Nova visualises the methodology — your risk management decides execution. The indicator does not place orders, manage positions, or track P&L. You are in control of every trading decision.

Setup Lifecycle

Every setup tracked from identification to resolution.

Nova tracks each setup through four states — so you always know exactly what happened and why.

ARMED

All three gates passed. Setup is live. Entry, stop, and target are drawn. Waiting for price to reach the entry zone.

TOUCHED

Price has reached the entry midline. The setup is now active — you are in the trade if you chose to take it.

INVALIDATED

Price moved against the setup before or after entry. The stop level was breached. Setup is closed as failed.

EXPIRED

The setup tracking window closed without price reaching the entry. Setup is retired — no trade occurred.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Does Nova give buy/sell signals?

No. Nova is a framework visualiser. It shows you when the three setup conditions are met and draws the entry, stop, and target. The decision to take the trade — and all position sizing and risk management — remains yours.

Why only long setups?

Research into NY-session FVG retraces on crypto shows structural asymmetry. Long-side setups had positive expectancy across all five validated symbols in backtest; short-side variants did not. Nova is long-only by design, not by limitation.

Can I use it on 5-minute charts?

Yes — Nova auto-scales parameters across 1m, 5m, and 15m. On 5m and 15m you'll see fewer setups per session because structure breaks occur less often on coarser timeframes. This is methodology-inherent. The 1m chart is the primary validated timeframe.

Does it work on stocks or forex?

Nova is validated on crypto spot only. The 14:30 UK session trigger aligns with the NYSE open, so US stocks could theoretically work — but FVG dynamics haven't been tested on equity markets. For other asset classes, SMC Edge Pro and ScalpEdge Pro are better suited.

What are the eight alerts?

Setup Armed, Setup Touched, Setup Invalidated, Setup Expired, Session Open, Session Close, and two additional configurable events. Inline alert messages include dynamic entry, stop, and target prices for webhook integration with automation platforms.

Is this part of the suite?

Yes. All nine AcruxCap indicators are bundled together — one subscription covers everything. If you're already subscribed, NY Nova is available to you immediately.
