1. Who we are
AcruxCap operates acruxcap.co.uk and is the data controller for the limited processing described here. Contact: junaid@acruxcap.co.uk
2. What we collect
If you decline analytics (or ignore the banner): we collect no personal data through the site. Our hosting provider processes standard server request information, such as IP address and user agent, as a necessary part of delivering the page and protecting against abuse.
If you accept analytics: Google Analytics 4 is loaded with IP anonymisation enabled. It records aggregate usage — pages viewed, approximate region, device type, how you arrived. This is used to understand which guides are useful. It is not used to identify you, and there is no advertising or remarketing on this site.
3. What stays in your browser
Some features use your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and we cannot see it:

Clearing your browser data removes all of it.
4. Legal basis
Analytics are processed on the basis of your consent, which you give by pressing Accept and may withdraw at any time by clearing your browser data for this site. The minimal server logging necessary to deliver and secure the site is processed on the basis of legitimate interests.
5. Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. Data is processed only by the service providers necessary to run the site — our hosting provider, and Google Analytics if you have consented. Market data displayed on the site is fetched by our server from a third-party financial data source; your browser does not contact that source directly, and no information about you is sent to it.
6. Retention
Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' configured retention period. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a short operational period. We do not maintain any separate database of visitors.
7. Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Because we operate no accounts and hold no directly identifying information, in most cases there is nothing held about you to retrieve. To make a request, email junaid@acruxcap.co.uk.
8. Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Changes
Any material change to this policy will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
