- Prices can move sharply and unpredictably, including against you and including while markets are closed.
- Leverage magnifies losses. With leveraged products you can lose more than your initial deposit unless negative-balance protection applies.
- Stop-loss orders do not guarantee your exit price. In gapping or fast-moving markets you may be filled materially worse than your stop level.
- Overnight and weekend gaps cannot be managed with orders — only with position size.
- Past performance, backtests and historical examples are not indicative of future results.
4. Educational examples
Charts, figures and scenarios throughout the site are illustrative and are used to explain concepts. They are not predictions, recommendations or representations that any approach will be profitable. Simplified examples generally exclude spreads, commission, financing costs, slippage and tax, all of which materially affect real results.
5. Tools on this site
The calculators and simulators provided here are teaching aids. They run entirely in your browser and make simplifying assumptions — for example, the position-size calculator ignores costs and assumes your stop fills at its stated level, and the simulator draws random outcomes to illustrate variance rather than to forecast anything. Their output must not be relied upon as the sole basis for any decision.

We have no affiliation with them, receive no commission, and accept no responsibility for their content, accuracy, availability or conduct. Market data shown on this site is sourced from third parties, may be delayed or inaccurate, and must not be relied upon for trading decisions.
